MBSA and Team Steel TX are working together to provide a healthy select baseball and softball option for the youth in McKinney and for those athletes that have been a part of MBSA. By partnering with Team Steel TX, an established select organization on the national level, MBSA is able to provide a glide path for the youth players that long for strong competition.
Team Steel TX will provide baseball and softball camps in McKinney, as well as a Coaches Clinic to make sure our recreational teams are getting coached properly. The Recreational Player Development Program, credited by funds from Team Steel TX, will be able to provide private lessons, on a lottery basis, to the recreational youth players in MBSA.
This partnership will be managed by the MBSA Board of Directors Team Steel Liason and the Team’s Director for Team Steel TX.
The key goals of the partnership are to provide our youth baseball and softball players with a glide path to select baseball and softball, while providing our recreational baseball and softball players the tools and opportunities to grow.
